Congratulations to Joey Chestnut, whom Perezzers had the opportunity to meet when we were both on the NBC game show Identity.

The competitive eater was just crowned victorious at the 2007 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island, Brooklyn.

Chestnut took the title away from six-time champion Takeru Kobayashi of Japan by eating a record-breaking 66 hot dogs in 12 minutes.

Congrats Joey!

Despite reports that they had split, Eddie Murphy and his famewhoring girlfriend, Tracey Edmonds, have not broken up.

But they should!

“I did hear about the false rumor. That is absolutely not true,” says Edmonds.

Hmmm. Wonder what press-shy Eddie thinks of his chick speaking out publicly like that????

Amy Cancels Again

The Wino strikes!

Amy Winehouse cancelled another concert at the last minute, PerezHilton.com has learned.

In what is becoming a common occurrence, the Rehab singer was scheduled to perform in front of thousands of fans at the Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool, UK, as part of the Summer Pops events, on Wednesday night.

Just hours before the concert, the gig was cancelled because Wino was “sick.”

Uh huh.

Why even bother with the fake excuses?

Our Amy is a mess. You either love her for it or you don’t. No need to lie to the peeps.

Quote Of The Day

“I like an intellectual guy, because I love to read. If they like movies, books and music, we’re pretty alright. And I’d like someone who’s mature. God, I can’t take another immature person!”
