George Clooney has offered to set up a “mediation panel” to hopefully put an end to the months-long writers strike.

The actor is hoping to enlist other A-list stars, like Tom Hanks, as well as some media power players, like Harvey Weinstein, who has already volunteered to be part of the mediation panel.

Good. Whatever it takes.

Time to resolve this NOW!

Albino Wino was out and about in London on Thursday and in a very chatty mood.

The drug-plagued star looked happy and healthy. “I’m a lot better,” Amy said of her extended holiday in the Caribbean. “I went away to get off drugs, you know,” she told the paparazzi.

It’s gonna take more than a vacation to quite heroin and the like. But at least she’s trying! (Or putting on a good facade.)
