Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that none other than Mariah Carey will be performing at MTV’s premiere party for The Hills later this month!

An insider tells us that “The party will be held in NYC instead of LA, because Mariah is being a huge diva. She is scheduled to preform at the party, and she refuses to fly out to LA. SO, instead MTV is having to fly out EVERYONE from LA to NYC.”

An MTV source, however, counters that the premiere party was always scheduled to be in NYC, that Mimi is not being a diva and that at this point she’s not officially “confirmed.”

Mischa Barton and her reps f’ed up the Gossip Girl thing royally, according to TV Guide.

Turns out that Barton and her peeps decided to go public about turning down the Gossip Girl role before even sitting down with the show’s execs to tell them of her decision.

How unprofesh!

Why would the barely working Mushy do this?

Well, according to the source (an industry insider) believes Barton’s reps were desperate to remind the public of what an in-demand actress she is. In other words, they wanted to LIE.

Fartone’s campy leaked the offer as publicly as they could and passed on it as publicly as they could.

So not classy.

We say the plan back fired! A lot of people we heard from dissed on Mushy! And, Gossip Girl fans from across the nation were celebrating that she wasn’t going to ruin the show.

One thing Barton excels at is pissing off Gossip Girl and OC creator Josh Schwartz.

Two years ago, on the eve of Marisa Cooper’s death on The O.C., the Mush spoiled the big twist when she “accidentally” told a reporter that her character was going to die the day before the episode aired.

Three strikes and you are out, Mush Mush!

Update: We just spoke with Fartone’s publicist and she assures us that no one from her camp leaked the Gossip Girl news and that they are not using that to get publicity. You use jobs - not offers, says her rep.

Fat Bastard himself, Lou Pearlman, struck a plea deal with prosecutors Monday morning in his federal bank fraud case.

The man behind the Backstreet Boys and N’Sync, is changing his plea to GUILTY this coming Thursday.

He initially proclaimed his innocence.

The Feds say he defrauded banks out of more than $100 million.

Pearlman is also suspected of stealing another $300 million from investors. The fraud victims want the shady Pearlman to tell prosecutors where their money is stashed.

When Pearlman’s public defender was asked if a revelation of the $300 mil was part of the plea bargain he cryptically responded, “The plea will result in a resolution of the case.”

We hope the Feds have a strong case against Pearlman and that the people he victimized won’t get screwed!

Sentencing won’t be for a while, but Louella needs to go a way for a long long time.
