According to reports, “President ” George W. Bush is going to appear on a game show this coming Monday, which will feature a contestant who is a soldier.

No, it’s not Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader. Close, though!

‘W’ is going to appear on NBC’s Deal or No Deal.

The White House PR team is probably doing jumping jacks that this nice, fluffy AND war-related piece actually came their way!

Captain Joseph Kobes reportedly competes in the popular Howie Mandel-fronted show to attempt a win of enough cash to pay off his parents’ home. The dealmaking is briefly halted for Kobes, a Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient who has served in Iraq THREE times. ‘W’ surprises him by appearing on a screen to express gratitude for his service and wish him luck in the game.

The ‘W’ piece was pre-taped.

Hats off to Captain Kobes, though. We can’t wait to hear if he won all the money needed to help his fam. If the Captain didn’t win all that was needed maybe ‘W’ can make some phone calls to get Haliburton’s charitable contributions gang to cover the debt!

Dubai appears to heart spending their oil money in big ways!

We mentioned on Friday that Madonna is rumored to be getting $25 million to do two concerts there.

And now, a new report calls attention to the billions of dollars Dubai is sinking into American-style theme park projects.

Eight major licensing deals have been struck between oil-rich investors and entertainment giants such as Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment Inc. for theme parks and other attractions.

The first big theme park is set to open in 2010 - a $2.2 billion Universal Studios park based on franchises such as King Kong and Jurassic Park. It will be part of an area dubbed Dubailand on the city’s desert outskirts.

Next after that, a $1 billion Marvel Entertainment Inc. theme park will open in Abu Dhabi by 2011.

Shortly after, Dubai will have its own SeaWorld in 2012.

Disney has been notably absent from the Dubai theme park game - they claim they’re still studying the market.

The entertainment companies who are ‘in’ on the Dubai game realize that there are cultural considerations they must take into account — their plans need to jive with the dominant Muslim culture of the Middle East region.

So, we take it, a Perezland would be out of the question????

People.com reports that Britney Spears will return for another guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother!

Their source says, “The show is ecstatic and so is Britney.”

X17 put in a call to Fox publicists to confirm the news and we’ve yet to hear back …

Brit’s March 24 guest spot on the show brought the show it’s best ratings ever — she played a love interest for one of the main characters on the show.

We hope it’s true — Brit’s coming back!
