July 3rd, 2008: Ashlee and Pete visited a friend today, and on his way out, Pete was the jokester again. This time he was pretending to do product placement for a variety of brands of bottled water. At least that's what I think, anyway, it's a little hard to follow. All the while, Ashlee smiles blankly, doing a spot on impression of Katie Holmes to Pete's Tom Cruise.

This is one trend that needs to die!

Hollywood’s sexiest starlets have been sporting a new look, and apparently that look involves ruffles, vests and high-waisted shorts. Yuck!

Lindsay Lohan, who celebrated her birthday last night at Teddy’s, definitely takes the cake - pun intended! - of the bunch. But you know what? She also rocks the outfit the best (probably because it emphasizes her best assets) so props to her!

The always lovely Lauren Conrad doesn’t look particularly bad here, but the top half of her kinda disappears and those high-waisted shorts are, well… just don’t wear high-waisted shorts. Ever!

Ms. Duff unfortunately comes in last on the list - I mean, you just look uncomfortable, Hil! The vest, the ruffles, the whole outfit in general… it doesn’t suit your body type. Stick with just black next time!
Basically, dressing up like a sexy hostess cupcake is not a smart look - better luck next time, ladies!

We spotted the preggers model in the ‘Bu yesterday, along with babydaddy Matty in tow. Think he’s really ready to be a parent? One has to wonder if he’s gonna step up to the challenge, especially considering the way he handled the surfer showdown drama last week!
Time to grow up and take responsibility, Matt!

Of course, just because the pregnant Ms. Wentz wasn’t shopping for spirits doesn’t mean her own spirits weren’t high - she spoke warmly to our cameraman about both Pete and the baby while she perused the store’s selection of ice cream and candy. Aww, thanks, Ash - glad to hear that you’re still living the sweet life!

We caught Janet Jackson and her longtime boyfriend Jermaine Dupri wrapping up their trip to Paris for Fashion Week with a quick trip to Colette before heading over to the Roissy Airport to head home. Of course, Janet’s weight has a way of seesawing back and forth - we’re sure she’ll be looking sensational soon enough!
