“While we are disheartened that the burgeoning relationship between Callie and Erica on ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ has come to an end, the character of Callie, who has now been identified as a lesbian by show creator Shonda Rhimes, remains and her journey continues. Because there are so few lesbian characters on network television, we hope that ABC and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ will commit to further developing Callie’s character and her relationships, and continue providing this important representation on one of TV’s most-watched shows.”

Britwreck Kerry Katona’s future as the ‘face’ of UK frozen food giant Iceland rests on the results of an alcoholism test.

According to reports, the food company arranged for the test after they received a ton of angry complaints from customers about Katona’s ‘drunken’, pathetic appearance on a live Brit morning show, which we talked about a few weeks ago.

Katona’s meddling husband, former cabbie/dealer Mark Croft, revealed, “Iceland sorted everything out for us. They said: “We’re concerned about Kerry, and want to make sure everything is fine.”

An insider told the UK media, “Iceland have been shocked by the scale of the fall-out but are sticking by her for now - especially since she is appearing in a current series of ads.”

Kerry’s already lost one gig post the morning show debacle.

OK! Magazine dropped her highly paying weekly column just days after her controversial appearance.

If Iceland drops Kerry, does that mean Mark will go back to driving cabs to help make ends meet?

Cervical cancer victim Jade Goody revealed in a new interview that she’s going through early menopause.

She’s been receiving chemo and radiotherapy as part of her treatment and, apparently, one of the side effects of radiotherapy for women is early menopause because it stops the ovaries from working.

Jade also confirmed early reports that doctors have given her a 50/50 chance of survival.

Her cancer has spread to tissue surrounding vital abdominal organs.

Very sad.

She does hold out a special very hope for the future.

Jade revealed that she’d like to marry her on again/off again boyfriend, Jack Tweed, who is currently serving time for assault - “I love him and he loves me and we keep going back to each other.”

He’s set for prison release in May of ‘09.

Carrie Underwood is swiftly tarnishing her goodie-two-shoes American Idol image with a bad case of foot-in-mouth syndrome.

In an interview with Elle, the singer insists that her now-infamous Tony Romo remark was taken out of context, and that she hasn’t spoken with the football player - whom she was once linked with - since May.

She says, “I don’t think people realize that when you do an interview, the magazine comes out six months later. It was just something that was said in passing, and I would never mean to say anything to hurt anybody or to stir up anything, because I’m just not about drama.”

Fellow Idol alum and pal Kellie Pickler is quick to defend Underwood with, “She’s so talented, and she’s sweet and beautiful—all in one package. For anyone to say anything bad about her—I think they’re jealous.”

Jessica Simpson is probably jealous of her career!
