The Hills will go on for at least one more season.

Just not with Lauren Conrad physically living there.

The adorable reality star and her BFF / roommate, Lo Bosworth, are heading out of LC’s house in the Hollywood Hills in favor of a high-rise apartment complex in the Westwood area of Los Angeles, according to E! Online. The reason? Safety.

“[Lauren] loves her house but she wanted more security, and being in a building with a doorman will allow her that,” says a source close to The Hills star.

Just yesterday, some friends came over for a little barbecue at Lauren’s house - with the festivities taped by MTV, of course. See video below:

As you can see, the likes of Stephanie Pratt, Brody Jenner and his girlfriend Jayde Nicole made appearances at Lauren’s place, though they didn’t say why.

Going-away party, perhaps? If so, we doubt the neighbors were invited.

Ever since The Hills girls moved in and camera crews began filming in the otherwise quiet neighborhood, peeps have been livid with Lauren Conrad & Co. In fact, they probably threw a separate party to celebrate the girls packing their bags.

Don’t cry for Hugh Hefner.

Granted, the Playboy founder has ended his relationships with Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt. But he told E! Online that a new set of girlfriends moved in to his mansion about two weeks after he became a single man.

In an interview with the entertainment network, Hefner was joined by those new gal pals - Karissa and Kristina Shannon - as well by the third blonde recently added to his busty brood: Crystal Harris.

Here are a few naughty nuggets from the conversation:

Hef’s relationship philosophy: “The best solution to lost love is new love.”

Crystal Harris, comparing herself to The Shannon Twins: “I’m much more reserved than the twins. They are much more outgoing, and I’m the type of person who likes to stay close to home. Hef has the best of both worlds with us.”

Hef on Kendra’s fiance, Hank Baskett:  “[He’s a] cool guy.”

Hef on not marry Holly, due to his previously failed marriages: “Those are not the happiest times of my life and I just don’t want to screw up another. [Holly]… will make a good wife to Criss [Angel] or whoever she winds up with.”

Hef on adding a new sex buddy: We don’t have anyone in particular, but it’s always possible. There was one point when I had seven girlfriends.”

Heck, when your sex mates look like this, why wouldn’t you add as many as possible?!?

Not counting that war and the stuff with the money. In a move that just sent Jessica teetering off the edge to depression, Kim gave an interview for People which they described as “one curvy girl to another”:

“I actually love the outfit. I think she looks amazing. I love high-waisted jeans, I loved that belt, and her hair looked fabulous.”
Adds Kardashian, who’s attending the Super Bowl this weekend with football player beau Reggie Bush of the New Orleans Saints, “I get that she does look curvier, but to me, there’s nothing wrong it.”
No stranger herself to barbs about her own curvy physique, Kardashian says, “It doesn’t really bother me anymore. I love curves. Being super skinny just isn’t attractive to me. When I saw that picture, I knew everyone was going to say something. And I thought, ‘You know what?
