We know we report rumors of Britney Spears dating Jason Trawick, her friend and longtime agent, every few months - but we’re taking this one seriously.

Fairly seriously, at least. Although People magazine botched its story of Bar and Leo breaking up earlier, it’s reporting that Britney and Jason are definitely an item.

The best thing - and entirely necessary for any relationship involving the recovering singer to take place? Her family wholeheartedly approves of Jason Trawick.

Confirming Internet rumors, an insider tells the celebrity news magazine of Jason and Britney Spears: “They are totally and definitely dating,” the source says.

“Her dad loves him. He’s the best thing that happened to her.”

In recent months, Jason Trawick has often been seen with the pop star, including during her May trip to the Bahamas with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

The most recent romance rumors surrounding the two popped up in mid-May, during the Spears family’s getaway to the Bahamas following the conclusion of her U.S. Circus tour dates - and before her current European swing.

The two were also supposedly dating back in March.

“They’re very sweet together,” the source says, adding that Spears “always had a crush” on Jason, who is also one of her brother Bryan Spears’ best friends.

“He makes Britney really happy, and he’s great with the boys.”

Earlier, we gave you the 4-1-1 on Spencer and Heidi Pratt’s latest - and maybe, presumably final - departure from I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

Despite the rumors to the contrary (ones started by moronic Stephanie Pratt no less), Speidi was not tortured, and Heidi’s visit to a Costa Rican hospital was caused by a gastric ulcer, one possibly related to self-inflicted fasting.

As you can see in the video clip below, Heidi was definitely in rough shape, but not from “being locked in a dark room for 3 days with no food or water.”

Honestly, Stephanie, just STFU already.

We imagine that somewhere, Lauren Conrad is getting a pretty big kick out of watching Heidi in this state. We know millions across America certainly are.

Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt marked six months together, and the pair celebrated with Doug probing her esophagus with his tongue taking her shopping in Chicago.

“I took her shopping, and we had a nice dinner and just enjoyed each other,” Doug told E! Online at the premiere of Simon Rex’s new “mockumentary” Rex last night.

Besides impromptu, sexy photos to pose for with Doug, Paris has a busy summer ahead, as she’s off to Dubai this week to film yet another version of My New BFF.

Asked if she’s still close with ex-BFF Kim Kardashian, “No comment,” Doug piped in. “I’ll answer that for her.” Way to step up to the plate and cut off your girl, D.

The ho-tel heiress is also working hard on her line of sunglasses, lingerie, footwear and purses. But it’s not all work and no play for Paris. It sounds like Doug Reinhardt may be plotting a vacation for them in a couple of months.

“I have something planned for her in August,” he dished.

“It’ll be fun and involve feverish boning in public relaxing.”

Various sources are reporting that Miley Cyrus has broken up with Justin Gaston… possibly for Nick Jonas!

Both E! Online and Us Weekly have quoted insiders that claim the pair called it quits on Saturday, the same day each posted sad Twitter messages regarding the relationship.

As the young Hannah Montana heads to Los Angeles for two months to shoot a new movie, a friend says Miley simply ran out of time for the 20-year old underwear model.

“They have been having trouble for a while,” said the source. “It’s been hard for a long time since Miley has been working so much and traveling a lot.”

But isn’t a good, hot, Bible-toting guy worth fighting for? Unless, that is, Cyrus has another waiting in the wings…

Miley Cyrus: Out with the old(er) Justin Gaston and in with the new(er) Nick Jonas.

For a few weeks, Gaston has complained to friends about his girlfriend’s resurrected relationship with Nick Jonas. That gorgeous body was reportedly being eaten up inside by the rekindled friendship.

“She obviously has been hanging out with Nick again a lot, and Justin was cool with it at first, as long as it was just a cool, friendly thing,” an insider told E! News. “She didn’t cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time.”

Adding fuel to this juicy fire? On Saturday, Cyrus posted a mysterious message on her Twitter page:

“I’m in a dark theater ‘writing’ a song with nick j who is rockin a faded eggplant shirt! :)”

Did Miley just imply - or simply state, really - that she was hooking up with Nick Jonas inside a movie theater?!? Is there any other way to interpret her “writing” reference?
