It’s a good day to be John Edwards.

Now that Mark Sanford’s affair with Maria Belen Shapur has officially replaced his weird relationship with Rielle Hunter as the political scandal everyone is talking about, maybe the two-time presidential candidate can rebuild his career and reputation.

Or not.

Despite the surprise unveiling of Mark Sanford’s affair doing heavy damage to the South Carolina Governor’s political future, he did not knock her up at least.

Not that we know of, anyway. For John Edwards, his extramarital boinking of Rielle Hunter is said to have resulted in a love child, and an adorable one too.

Check out this adorable picture of Frances Quinn Hunter, born in 2008, along with that of her alleged former U.S. Senator dad (who denies the allegations).

Rielle is said to be pushing for a DNA test. We don’t expect Edwards to agree, but if he’s somehow forced to by a court, will it show him to be Frances’ pop?

Right now, no one can answer that definitively. But Edwards has been beyond shady, and she has the nicest eyes, much like a certain handsome politician …

Is Frances Quinn Hunter John Edwards’ love child? Will admitted mistress Rielle Hunter attempt to prove this and thus create more controversy? We can only hope so.

Farrah Fawcett died at 9:28 a.m. this morning today. She was 62. The actress and model died at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, Calif., in the ICU.

Her longtime partner Ryan O’Neal was by her bedside as she passed away.

Her only child, Redmond O’Neal, whose father is Ryan, was not present.

Farrah was diagnosed with anal cancer back in 2006. She had recently returned to St. John’s for treatment of complications from the cancer.

“She’s gone. She now belongs to the ages,” Ryan O’Neal, who this week planned to wed his partner of 29 years (it’s not clear if he did), said.

“She’s now with he mother, sister and God. I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very much. She was in and out of consciousness … I talked to her all through the night. I told her how very much I loved her. She’s in a better place now.”

Like so much about Fawcett’s life - including her bumpy relationship with O’Neal - her heroic struggle to beat the disease was closely followed by her fans.

O’Neal, in particular, remained a steadfast supporter of Farrah Fawcett, who, despite her frailty, spent the last months of her life filming a TV documentary chronicling her illness, including several trips to Germany to undergo treatment.

Farrah Fawcett skyrocketed to fame as one of the private eyes on Charlie’s Angels, and also starred in The Burning Bed, Nazi Hunter, Poor Little Rich Girl: The Barbara Hutton Story, Margaret Bourke-White and Small Sacrifices, among other works.

We wish her family the best in this difficult time.

Whitney Port has learned a few things about being single.

“Just be open to all different possibilities and all different types,” she said. “Try not to overanalyze things or put too much pressure on things.”

“It’s just fun to be single, to meet a lot of people, to date around, to figure out what you really want and are looking for, what works for you.”

What does the adorable 24-year-old star of The City want, exactly?

“I’m not there yet! I’m still in [the] dating around phase!” Port says.

The MTV reality star split with her Australian musician boyfriend Jay Lyon on The Hills spinoff’s season finale after less than a year together.

Whitney Port admits that the two are not on the best of terms.

“I’d never say we’re, like, not friends, but, you know, the past is the past,” she said. “In an ideal world, of course you want to stay friends with your exes. I mean, there was something there. There was a reason you liked each other.”

“But you know, the world isn’t always perfect,” she astutely reflected. “And sometimes we have to let people go and move forward and sometimes you can’t do that if you’re still having a relationship - even if it’s just as friends.”

The City returns this fall. Reportedly with the addition of party girls Roxy and Samantha, who have been enlisted to spice up the boring show.

Before they even set foot in Costa Rica, Heidi and Spencer Pratt set out to promote their short - yet dramatic - stint on I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

No, not with Spencer’s music video. With a Pizza Hut ad.

The ad, which never aired (shockingly), features The Hills gruesome twosome sitting in a jungle talking about what they’ll face on the reality show.

“We’ll only be eating jungle food - things we kill with our bare hands,” Spencer says. “That’s why we’re out here only eating leaves and bugs and dirt.”

Then a Pizza Hut delivery person interrupts them, Spencer plays dumb, Heidi shows how terrible she is at even reading cue cards, and so on and so on.

Hopefully this video finally concludes Speidi’s Celebrity stint, which featured numerous attempts to quit, allegations of torture, Heidi Pratt being hospitalized, and even a feud with Al Roker. Say what you will about them, they keep things interesting.

Not to worry, Lauren Conrad lovers. It’s just a wig.

But the California blonde nevertheless gave up her signature hairstyle for a long brown bob – albeit only for one day while posing for a magazine.

“I got to wear a brown wig all day,” LC Tweeted.

“It [was] fun though … Kinda like playing dress up.”
