The central target in the investigation into Michael Jackson’s death is Dr. Conrad Murray, who was at Jackson’s house when the singer went into cardiac arrest.

According to TMZ, the doctor is not cooperating with authorities, but they have still uncovered evidence linking him to the drug that may have killed Jackson.

As a result of Dr. Murray’s second interview with police, the LAPD obtained a warrant to conduct a second search of Michael’s home, and they found Propofol.

This powerful anesthesia should never be found or used outside a hospital. There is evidence Propofol was given to Jackson before his heart stopped beating.

There is also evidence Dr. Conrad Murray may have administered it.

Murray’s lawyer, Ed Chernoff, would neither confirm nor deny if Dr. Murray administered Propofol to Jackson. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ if they conclude the doctor administered the drug, it may lead to manslaughter charges.

Investigators are also suspicious of the delay between Jackson succumbing to cardiac arrest and the ensuing 911 call, during which he was already unconscious. Murray says he waited 20-30 minutes because he didn’t know the music icon’s address.

Not only was Murray serving as Jackson’s personal physician, but MJ lived on one of the most famous streets in the world - one house above Sunset Boulevard.

The investigation into Jackson’s death has also fueled an investigation into his history with drug use and the doctors who may have enabled his habits.

Law enforcement is seriously investigating the prescription practices of several doctors who gave Michael Jackson access to various medications.

Investigators are particularly interested in doctors who used aliases to write prescriptions for Jackson. One of the central figures: Dr. Arnold Klein.

Jackson’s staff complained that Klein was using the names of employees and others to help the star score drugs. More details as this story develops …

A photo of Barack Obama allegedly ogling Mayara Tavares, a 17-year-old junior delegate to the G8 in Italy, has caused quite the stir online in the last 48 hours.

Here’s the image in question, in case you have not seen it. Looks a lot like the U.S. President (and French chief exec Nicolas Sarkozy) are enjoying the view, no?

Yeah. Neither smooth, nor becoming of a father of two and a man of Barack’s stature. But apparently this was just bad luck for our Commander-in-Chief.

Khloe Kardashian is a celebrity weight loss champion.

Sister Kim Kardashian may be the one with the famous figure, but Khloe is really koming into her own with a svelte new shape, having dropped 20 pounds.

How’d this krazy Kardashian lose all that weight?

“I try to do 30 minutes of cardio, mandatory,” Khloe konfessed. “Obviously if I have more time, I want to do weights, but really cardio is what works for me because I’m bigger. Cardio leans me out, and still works muscle definition too.”

To avoid a monotonous routine, she makes sure to switch hers up.

“I do different kinds everyday because I get really bored. I do boxing, I go on hikes, I do stairs,” Khloe Kardashian says. “I’m always switching it up.”

At diet and exercise, Khloe Kardashian krushes the kompetition.

Khloe - who will star with sister Kourtney in a new reality series, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, this August - is more than happy with how far she’s come.

“It’s hard work, but it’s worth it, and once you start seeing results, it really keeps you motivated,” she says. “Now I actually get excited. I’m like ‘I’ve got to start seeing arm definition soon,’ so I go to the gym.”

A for her dieting secrets?

“I eat whatever I want until noon. From noon on, I watch what I eat,” says Khloe, who said she’s launching a diet product called Quick Trim with Kim. Really.

“I only drink champagne. 100 calories in a glass, and I’m good.”

Lauren Conrad was a fan favorite on Laguna Beach and The Hills. Her recent reality TV retirement has apparently done little to diminish that status.

The 23-year-old’s debut novel, L.A. Candy, which draws parallels with LC’s real life, has topped the New York Times Best Seller list - for two weeks!

“If someone said to me five years ago that I would one day make the New York Times Best Seller list I wouldn’t have believed it,” Conrad said.

“I am so honored that it is now a reality.”

Although she is used to the spotlight, she’s still in awe over her literary accomplishment, especially given that this is her first foray into fiction: “It was such a compliment to be included in something with such established names.”

L.A. Candy is loosely based on the life of Lauren Conrad, and follows Jane Roberts, a 19-year-old girl who moves to Hollywood and ends up as the star of her own reality show, surrounded by all sorts of interesting characters.

Actress Hayden Panettiere, 19, recently lamented to Details magazine that she is tortured by fame and unable to live a normal life at such a tender age.

Intense scrutiny of her personal and family dealings may be a drawback to being rich and famous, but come on girl. There are benefits to that lifestyle.
