Actress Jaime Pressly and Simran Singh, an entertainment lawyer, have just gotten engaged, her rep confirms. No wedding date has been set as of yet.

The smitten pair checked into San Diego’s Hard Rock Hotel on Thursday for a celebration toasting the actress’ 32nd birthday, after she broke the news.

Earlier this month, she hit Hollywood hotspot Jane’s House to help Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger toast her birthday. She told her pals that night.

“Jaime was showing off a huge diamond engagement ring on her hand,” says a guest. “Girlfriends were coming up and they were all congratulating her.”

The star of My Name Is Earl and her man “were an adorable couple. They snuggled in a booth and Jaime even semi-laid down with her head on his chest.”

Pressly was previously engaged to Eric Calvo (a.k.a. DJ Eric Cubiche), from whom she separated in November of last year. He is the father of their two-year-old son Dezi James, but fortunately, “There are no bad feelings there.”

At the end of the second season of The Bachelor, Aaron Buerge presented the final rose – and a ring – to elementary school psychologist Helene Eksterowicz.

But as the year 2002 came to an end, so did their romance.

That’s pretty standard for The Bachelor, but at least his happy ending is at last here. Now, in 2009, Aaron Buerge has finally found a mate in Angye McIntosh.

“Long story short, I got mustard on her the first time we met,” says Buerge, a restaurant owner who met McIntosh in their hometown of Springfield, Mo.

It’s Aaron Buerge’s first marriage – and his first proposal since his televised one seven years ago. But he’s not walking down the aisle with any hesitation.

“I’d like to have a family,” he says. “I’m not getting any younger. At this point, when you’re in your mid-30s, the drama of dating has gone away.”

So much so, in fact, that he met Angye McIntosh through an ex-flame.

“My ex-girlfriend and I thought we would get together for some beers with some other people, and that’s how I met Angye,” Buerge says.

Congratulations to the happy couple! We wish the best for them, as well as for the two latest, still-together pairings from The Bachelor universe, Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney and Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski.

Jillian Harris is engaged to Ed Swiderski after giving him the final rose on a teary, fairly uncontroversial finale of The Bachelorette. That means the rumors of Ed having a Chicago girlfriend (or ex-girlfriend) the whole time were bogus, right?

Not according to Radar Online, which reports that even during filming, Ed Swiderski was texting and emailing Bethany Steffen, his very recent ex-girlfriend.

“He broke off his relationship with Bethany a week before shooting The Bachelorette but soon resumed contact with her via texts and emails,” a source said.

Another source says the texts were “more than platonic,” and “sexy.”

After The Bachelorette shooting concluded and Ed had secretly won the final rose from Jillian he was still sexting (yes, sex texting) Bethany Steffen.

Jillian Harris’ fiance Ed Swiderski is still dogged by rumors.

“When the episode aired showing Ed as the winner and he and Jillian agreeing to marry, Bethany was stunned,” one of the sources said. “Ed’s sexy texts to Bethany certainly aren’t of the kind a happily engaged man should be sending.”

While fellow hopeful Wes Hayden was portrayed as two-timing Jillian Harris (the show even outed his alleged girlfriend Laurel Kagay), rumors later surfaced that eventual winner Ed also had a girlfriend who he was involved with until late 2008.

Ed Swiderski rebounded into an intense four-month-long affair with Bethany Steffen before leaving for L.A. to film The Bachelorette with Jillian Harris.

He broke off communication with Bethany before the show, effectively dumping her (just forgetting to inform her of that). But then he resumed contact.

Who knows if any of this is actually true, but Jillian is planning to move to her fiance’s hometown of Chicago on September 1, and get married in 2010.
