Joe Francis is standing by his story about his brawl with Brody Jenner and Jayde Nicole - and allegedly making sure the key witness is on the same page.

This according to a text from Joe to Abbey obtained by TMZ.

The text from Francis to Wilson, whose conversation triggered the nightclub melee in which Joe beat up Jayde (says she), was sent August 28 at 1:11 p.m.

The fight happened the previous night. Joe Francis wrote the text to make sure Wilson backs up his story that he didn’t assault anyone and Brody’s lying:

“Your statement is the truth. That jade [sic] threw a drink on me when I was talking to you and I reached around to tap on her shoulder to see who it was.”

“Brody then grabed [sic] my shirt and ripped it partialy [sic] off. I curled up in a ball and covered my face. Joe never touched anyone!!! Most important!!!”

What a sleaze. Not that you would expect anything less.

Abbey Wilson used to date Joe Francis. Her self-esteem must be real high.

Francis’ rep responded to the Abbey story as such:

“Abbey Wilson, Joe Francis’ ex-girlfriend that he lived with for almost a year, has a little problem telling the whole truth … Abbey conveniently omitted the last part of that text message which puts everything in context.”

“The text reads: ‘Also remember jade [sic] hit you the last time, don’t lie for them.’ Joe would never coach a witness but simply wanted Ms. Wilson to tell the truth about the incident and put aside her vendetta towards Joe.”

Said vendetta against Joe Francis is apparently related to him breaking up with her and asking her to move out of his home. But no matter. The rep added:

“Joe is sick of this whole thing and just wishes his ex-girlfriend would just leave him alone, go back to Oklahoma and quit trying to make herself famous.”

This “rep” is probably Joe himself. He can never resist getting in the last dig. Which is probably why he ended up getting his ass kicked by Brody Jenner.

Michelle Duggar, 42, shared their schedule in an interview:

• 7 a.m.: Everyone gets up, gets dressed and washes up for breakfast. Older children help their “buddy” – the younger child they are responsible for.
• 8 a.m.: Breakfast, followed by a “quick clean” of the house, with everyone scurrying to do their assigned chores, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar say.
• 9 a.m.: School, taught by mom, starts around the dining table. All of the children work at their own level for phonics, math, music and more.
• 12 p.m.: Lunch. Monthly budget for groceries and household items: ,000.
• 1:30 p.m.: The youngest Duggar kids take a nap. This is also what The Hollywood Gossip interns typically do around this time. Lazy asses.

• 2 p.m.: The older children reconvene for more school. Boo.
• 4 p.m.: More studies for the older children and free time.
• 5 p.m.: Dinner, another “quick clean,” and more free time.
• 8 p.m.: Snack time (woo) then group Bible study. The family also goes around the room to talk about what is going on in each child’s life.
• 8:30 p.m.: Bedtimes begin.

Sounds like a nice day. It’s a stark contrast with the daily routine of Jon Gosselin, who spends his time traveling the world, boozing at clubs, hitting on mediocre girls and giving contradictory interviews to celebrity gossip magazines.

Mark Wahlberg and new wife Rhea Durham, with whom he already had three kids before tying the knot, are now expecting their fourth child, the actor announced.

Durham, 31, showed off her growing bump during a weekend shopping trip to The Grove in L.A. She and The Departed star married on August 1 in Beverly Hills.

The two are already parents to Ella, 5, Michael, 3, and Brendan, 11 months.

EXPECTING: Mark Wahlberg and Rhea Durham are psyched for baby #4.

The actor credits his spouse and their children with helping him shake his former bad boy ways: “We continue to grow in our relationship,” Wahlberg says.

“I was not prepared to be married … at 20 or 30. Committing to making it work and all the things that go into building a foundation is where I’m at now.”

“My family travels with me when I work most of the time or I go back and forth on the weekends,” he said. “I’ve been pretty consistent about just making phone calls in the morning and then chasing the kids around in the afternoon.”

It’s never been a secret: Kim Kardashian wants a child.

Last month, knocked up sister Kourtney Kardashian said that Kim gets jealous if she doesn’t get a certain automobile first; so one can only imagines how it feels to watch her sibling go through a pregnancy!

At the time, they didn’t know an affair had begun. Now, “They’ve put the pieces together about the last few months, and they’re developing a good friendship.”

Translation: It’s just a matter of time until Dean hits that.

As LeAnn and Eddie nauseate with PDAs, scorned spouses Dean Sheremet and Brandi Glanville are finding comfort in one another. You know what that leads to.

On Tuesday, Rimes announced that she and Sheremet are divorcing - just days after taking a PDA-packed vacation with Eddie Cibrian to Cabo San Lucas.

Asked how it feels to see his ex with Cibrian, Sheremet fought back tears, saying: “I don’t really know what to say. It’s bizarre. It’s surreal. But I’m OK.”

Luckily, Dean has found comfort in comisserating with Brandi Glanville. We can’t wait for the paparazzi pictures of them holding hands. Give it a week.
