There’s nothing wrong with being an attention whore. It clearly appeals to many star crazed fans, and Twitter was practically invented with the Adrianne Curry, Kim Kardashian and Aubrey O’Day types of the world in mind.

Just don’t expect us not to call you out on it.

Two weeks ago, Aubrey O’Day feigned indignation over criticism of her appearance in PeepShow. Everyone is too critical and judgmental of others’ bodies, said she.

Basically, Aubs hates attention … except for when she begs for it every second of the day with photos like this, which she posted on Twitter over the weekend …

On her Twitter page, Aubrey begged for attention wrote of the photo above: “What the F*#K is going on with my cleavage tonight! NEXT TIME t-shirt and jeans!”

We repeat, there’s nothing wrong with Aubrey O’Day nude. There are worse things to ogle, and if she makes her living flaunting her assets, more power to her.

But when you shove those giant things in everyone’s face 24/7, don’t be surprised if you get some negative feedback, girl. You’re inviting praise and criticism.

Yesterday, Holly Hester became the second to claim she was one of the women David Letterman slept with during the 1990s. She likely will not be the last.

Holly said she and Letterman were together for over a year in the early 90s, and that she would have married the hilarious late night comedian if possible.

She claimed to be with David Letterman just a day after the Late Show host confessed that someone was trying to extort him for million over his affairs.

Letterman’s affair with Holly Hester allegedly began when she was an NYU student and an intern for the show. A year-long romance ensued, she said, until the funnyman called it off because of their age difference.

A source close to the show tells the New York Daily News that the host kept a secret bachelor pad above his set in the Ed Sullivan Theater on Broadway.

“He doesn’t have to come out,” a staffer said. “He has a suite upstairs.”

An ex-Late Show staff member said that Letterman kept a room insiders dubbed “the bunker” that was open only to his favorite young female underlings.

The allegations followed a similar admission from former Late Show staffer Stephanie Birkitt, who claims to have had an affair with him in the late ’90s.

Stephanie Birkitt later spent years with Robert Halderman, accused extortionist of Letterman - which may explain how Halderman knew of Dave’s love life.

Letterman, 62, admits that he had several affairs, apparently while dating longtime lover Regina Lasko, who he married in March. They have a son, Harry, 5.

Shocking as the allegations by Birkitt and Hester are, some believe they may be the tip of the iceberg. People alleges the existence of a third Letterman girl.

Whether that’s true or not, rumors will likely continue to fly in the coming weeks regarding scandalous love affairs between Letterman and young staffers.

All of which puts even more pressure on Letterman.

When he devoted a 10-minute monologue on his show Thursday to the extortion plot and affairs, fans generally stood by him and appreciated his honesty.

But as more details of his actions become public knowledge, rumored or true, they begin to overshadow the extortion scheme. He may not be a hypocrite or have done anything illegal, but Letterman’s reputation will take a bigger and bigger hit.

How he responds will be very interesting to see.

We really love our jobs.

You’ll never hear us say you should read less celebrity gossip, or that the lives of stars from A-to-Z-listers aren’t endlessly entertaining to follow.

But seriously, the crowds lining up 20 deep for a glimpse of the self-aggrandizing tool known as Jon Gosselin yesterday in L.A. really need hobbies.

Jon hit up Millions of Milkshakes, where he basked in the glow of stardom made a custom milkshake with eight flavors, one for each Gosselin child.

He later went to Ivy, the most notorious paparazzi mecca in Hollywood, for lunch, and again found himself swarmed by a sea admirers far and wide.

Think he’s enjoying his celebrity status just a little bit? This sort of thing sure gives him a lot of credibility when he pretends to care about his kids.

It’s hard to tell who’s more pathetic, Jon Gosselin, or someone who goes out of their way just to see and shower praise upon Jon Gosselin. Tough call.

It’s not often you get to see two famous blondes cat-fighting in leather lingerie and thigh-high boots on mainstream television. Well, not that often.

But this is Lady GaGa we’re talking about, and her adversary on Saturday Night Live last night was none other than her idol, pop legend Madonna.

Ryan Reynolds may have been the host of SNL last night, but it was Lady Gaga who provided the most notable moments (to the surprise of no one).

She said a four-letter-word (”Dancing to that sh!t on the radio”) during a song, then appeared in the periodic house-music sketch, “Deep House Dish.”

In the sketch, Kenan Thompson and Andy Samberg host a show devoted to the latest in dance and techno. It’s very random. And a natural fit for Gaga.

It wasn’t long before Lady Gaga and Madonna - in a surprise cameo - launched into a full-on cat-fight replete with hair-pulling, pushing and wrestling…

Fortunately, the two were separated and placed on either side of Thompson while they cooled off until they kissed and made up. Britney is so jealous.

Nice to see that the practical joking pair can poke fun at their rivalry. And that Lady Gaga does not appear to be a hermaphrodite. That’d just be weird.

GaGa has previously compared herself to the Material Girl, saying, “We’re both Italian-American women, we both started out in the New York underground scene - and we both became famous when we dyed our hair blonde.”

As you may have heard via Hollywood blogs or her Twitter page, Lindsay Lohan was paid to host the F1 Rocks concert event in Singapore last weekend.

Well, it turns out Singapore must read plenty of celebrity gossip, because her presence wasn’t exactly warmly received by the citizens of that nation.

Apparently they aren’t fans of the ugly clothing line model and alleged actress in Southeast Asia. We can’t see why, she brings to much to the table!
