Ali Fedotowsky: Betrayed By Frank Neuschaefer!

Ali Fedotowsky has already been betrayed on The Bachelorette this season. Fortunately, Rated R (Justin Rego) and his cheating ways were exposed relatively early.

Unfortunately, she won’t be so lucky with Frank Neuschaefer, one of her final three … or the producers of the ABC reality series, who set her up for heartbreak.

That’s according to In Touch Weekly, yes. But there’s something to it.

By now, whether you read The Bachelorette spoilers or not, you’ve likely seen previews for next week and know that Frank is about to drop a bomb on our girl.

That bomb is his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Caruso, with whom he’s reunited after blatantly ditching Ali despite wooing her all these weeks … it’s simply heartbreaking.

Even more so? That the producers were in on it.

How They Tricked HerFrank Neuschaefer Picture

Monday on The Bachelorette, Frank Neuschaefer will break Ali’s heart/

According to reports, Frank didn’t exactly pull a Justin and use Ali Fedotowsky for publicity. He really liked her, but genuinely loved Nicole and wanted to reconcile.

“Frank didn’t think they would fall in love,” a source tells In Touch. “He followed his heart and did what was best for him - and ultimately what’s best for Ali, too.”

He considered Ali his girlfriend, says a source, and when producers refused to let him break up with Ali properly, they set the star up for even more heartbreak.

“They betrayed her,” says the source.

How? That remains to be seen. But months after that fateful night in Tahiti, Frank and Nicole were seen on a romantic date in Chicago. Follow the jump to see:

Hulk Hogan on Gulf Oil Spill: Worried, Helpless

Hulk Hogan has squared off against numerous foes inside the wrestling ring, but not even Andre the Giant presented the sort of challenge he and other Gulf Coast residents are facing these days.

Asked about the effects of the BP oil spill on his Clearwater Beach property, Hogan told Life & Style this week:

“No one can give us a straight answer. Now that it’s hurricane season, the big unknowns are coming at us. How far is the oil going to spread? Is it going to push way up on the land?”

The Hulkster shares that residence with fiancé Jennifer McDaniel.

Hulk

Let me tell you something, Mean Gene: BP sucks!

Hogan says his house hasn’t been directly affected, but the same can’t be said for the surrounding area.

“The local economy depends on tourism. All of a sudden the tourists aren’t here. And I’ve seen the price of [seafood] skyrocketing, because we depend on most of the grouper and the shrimp.”

The Hulkster says he isn’t “trying to blame anybody, but “we feel helpless, because we don’t even know who to go to! We just want to be on the same team again cleaning it up.”

Hogan should speak to Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder. That actor has been more active than anyone in the region, doing all he can to bring attention and assistance to the ravaged coast.

Kristin Cavallari on Lauren Conrad: We’re Cool!

Given their history, Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad may never be BFFs. But The Hills stars aren’t exactly feuding, either. The two are “cool,” Kristin says.

The two Laguna Beach beauties famously dated the same guy, Stephen Colletti, on the hit MTV reality show that spawned The Hills, which starred Conrad.

In a hilariously contrived move, Cavallari replaced LC as the protagonist and “narrator” of the series in 2009, when she decided to leave after five seasons.

Following The Hills series finale this week, the two reunited along with the whole cast, past and present, at the live after-show bash at the Roosevelt Hotel.

Despite what some think, the two don’t hate each other at all.

“I saw her at the wrap party on Saturday and we caught up,” Cavallari said at the after-show party, explaining that they’re now cordial, but that’s about it.

“We are not going to lunch together and I don’t have her phone number, but we are cool,” adds Cavallari of Conrad, who’s kept a low profile this past year.

Both girls also dated Brody Jenner at some point.

Speaking of that guy, whose fake relationship with Kristin was a primary, bogus story line this season, he’s now with Avril Lavigne - but still close to Kristin.

“Our friendship is the most important thing and I don’t think that anything will ever get in the way of that,” says Cavallari, who’s dating Miguel Medina.

Nice to see Kristin and LC on good terms. But if you had to pick

Teresa Giudice Laughs Off Danielle Staub Lawsuit

Following his client’s confrontation with Teresa Giudice and other Real Housewives of New Jersey on this week’s explosive episode, the attorney for Danielle Staub says he plans on filing a lawsuit.

Along with assault and battery charges, the lawyer says he’ll seek damages for “defamation of character.” To this assertion, Giudice has the following response:

HAHA!

“Don’t make me laugh. I think she’s defamed her own reputation all by herself,” Giudice told Popeater yesterday, clearly referring to Staub’s history of drug use, prostitution, sex tape production and overall lunacy.

Angry Teresa

Unlike Staub, Giudice is aware that filing a restraining order against a reality TV co-star is more ridiculous than any defense of Mel Gibson.

These women are paid to interact with one another in front of the camera. They don’t just choose to do so - they profit from the confrontations!

“Believe me, if we could get a restraining order against a cast member, Danielle would have had four against her already,” Teresa said. “I never threatened her. She, however, has been on camera threatening me, stalking me and even practicing doing me harm.”

Meanwhile, while viewers may claim to be be disgusted by these women, the ratings say otherwise:

Tuesday’s episode set a record for Bravo, becoming the highest-rated non-finale of the series. A total of 3.29 million fans tuned in.

Mel Gibson Tapes: Evidence of Tampering, Editing By Oksana Grigorieva?

His vile rants have forever altered people’s perception of him, but Mel Gibson’s lawyers claim the now-infamous tapes of his outbursts were tampered with.

The actor’s legal team says it has hard evidence that the four tapes (and counting) Oksana Grigorieva secretly recorded were tampered with and edited.

If true, it’s still Mel ranting like a sexist pig, making death threats and racial slurs, and demanding to be orally serviced before burning down her house.

But it may make the tapes inadmissible in a court of law.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department will have to authenticate the Mel Gibson tapes before handing over the domestic violence case to the D.A.’s Office.

That could take some time. Gibson faces investigation by authorities for allegedly attacking Oksana Grigorieva - while she carried their daughter no less.

Poor Crazy MelAn Oksana Image

Mel’s lawyers deny he physically attacked Oksana in any way, and will present evidence to the Sheriff’s Department that the tapes have been altered.

They say they have “concrete forensic evidence of tampering” with the tapes, including editing, though it is unclear if Oksana is the supposed culprit.

Grigorieva recorded Gibson’s rants, but denies she is the person leaking them to various celebrity news outlets this week … but who else could it be?

“We are not aware of any presentation Gibson’s lawyers are making, but are not surprised they would make such unfounded claims,” her lawyers said.

In addition to the criminal investigation against Mel, there is the matter of custody over Lucia. Grigorieva wants a judge to strip Mel of custody.

She will use tapes as evidence Mel is a danger to the child, and the authenticity of the tapes will almost certainly be raised by Mel’s attorneys.
