Jon Gosselin tried to block Kate from taking his 8 kids to Australia, and even went so far as to have a judge rule on the matter, but the judge ruled in Kate’s favor. Kate has taken her large brood to New Zealand and Australia to film for her show ‘Kate Plus 8’ and since the trip was work related, the judge ruled that Kate could take the kids. According to RadarOnline a source said;

‘The judge ruled that because it was for work it was okay. Jon had plans to get together with his kids and friends for New Year, but now he will not see them until they return in the middle of January.’

“He was scheduled to have them this weekend, but there was nothing he could do as the decision was taken out of his hands.

“Kate told Jon about the trip, and when he did not agree it was decided that the judge should intervene and the ruling went in her favor.

“He is trying to put a brave face on it and has explained the situation to his own family and friends, but obviously not being with his kids for New Year is a big disappointment for him.

“But they all respect him for trying to stand-up to Kate and for fighting for what he thinks is right for his kids too.”

Well it looks like 2011 isn’t going to start off that great for Jon and Kate than 2010 has ended! What do you think – do you think its ok that Kate took her kids on such a big trip even though Jon didn’t want them to go?

Reese Witherspoon confirmed her engagement to CAA Agent Jim Toth this week, and her ex-husband is very happy for her. Ryan Phillippe released a statement to the Daily News saying;

“I’m very happy for both Reese and Jim,”

“I wish nothing but the best for the mother of my children.”

Reese and Ryan have been divorced for three years now, although sometimes it really feels like longer than that! I’m happy that she’s found someone that makes her happy, although I must admit, I was a little sad when she and Jake Gyllenhaal broke up!

I’m looking forward to seeing what their wedding will look like! Do you think she’ll have a big wedding, or scale it down since it’s her second?

I have to say, it sounds like Justin Bieber’s mom really wants her son to have as normal an upbringing as possible! And she seems to let him know that no matter how popular he might get, she’s the boss!

In an interview on ‘The Early Show’ Justin spoke about he missed a few important phone calls because his mom cancelled his cell phone!

“We got into an argument about something stupid, and she was like, ‘Give me the phone’ and I was like, ‘No’, so she just went and cancelled it.”

I love that! I love that even though he might be one of the most googled people on the planet, that his mother still is the boss! Too many child stars have no boundaries, so it’s nice to see that both of Justin’s parents seem to have his best interests at heart! And it seems that they might need to be a little stricter now, since Justin also said on the show;

“It’s great, you know. I’m 16 and I love girls.”

Oh boy, I have a feeling his mother is going in to be in for a rough couple of years!

Just a few weeks after completing his court mandated anger management course for his assault on Rihanna, Chris Brown is finding himself under public scrutiny yet again. The singer launched a string of homophobic slurs at performer Raz-b on twitter last night after Raz-b tweeted;

Im just sittin here Thinking how can ni**as like @ebenet & @ChrisBrown disrespect women as Intelligent as @HalleBerry11 @Rihanna

Raz-b had previously accused his band’s manager of molesting him, something that Chris Brown chose to use against Raz-b in their little twitter fight. Needless to say the two went on with a very public, childish and homophobic twitter battle that lasted over 3 hours!

I’m just going to say that maybe those anger management classes didn’t work so well! If you want to read their entire twitter battle, you can follow Chris Brown here and Raz-b here – but there’s lots of colourful language!

Ah, it’s just about that time to start planning those New Year’s resolutions again, and Victoria Beckham has a few already. In order to begin 2011 on a healthier note, Victoria has a few resolutions for herself;

“I’d like to sleep more, drink more water and less champagne. But you have to keep it real.”

Hmmm, for a super busy mother of 3 with her own booming fashion line – not sure how real those are!  And I wonder if that resolution to drink less champagne will work out for her though, since she’s said that she and David Beckham keep their marriage alive by having weekly date nights;

“We go and get drunk and have a date every Wednesday.”

“Sometimes we treat each other to an afternoon at the Beverly Hills Hotel and we’ll each have a massage and spend the day in our robes.”

Well, maybe she can just drink less champagne every day of the week but Wednesday! Something tells me that the former ‘Posh’ Spice might have a hard time giving up her champagne:-D
